Page Content This program manages the safety and regulatory compliance of radiofrequency (RF) or microwave transmitters. The requirements and exposure limits in FCC regulations are followed on campus. These are summarized in the Cornell RF/Microwave Safety Manual available in the link below. Operators and users of RF/microwave equipment are recommended to contact EH&S for assistance with the safety assessment of their equipment.
