This program manages the safety and regulatory compliance of sealed radioactive sources.  Sealed sources are designed to emit radiation while encapsulating the radioactive material in a safe manner.  Possession and use of sealed sources requires a permit from EH&S and individual users must be listed on the permit as authorized users.  Procedures, requirements, and guidance are provided through the Radiation safety Manual link below.
