​This program includes comprehensive consultation in laboratory safety, facility design, training for safe laboratory practices and compliance with laboratory safety regulations.  Specific programs address the following areas; use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials; the development of lab safety programs for other units; waste minimization; fume hood evaluations; safety newsletters; assistance with laboratory renovations; and plan reviews.
